Vaclaw Family Fireworks

We made it down to Bartlesville and we're so excited to be here for the next month! Every year the Vaclaw family puts on a GREAT fireworks show for anyone that wants to attend. There's seriously a ton of people there and this year so much family was able to make it so it was great to see everyone there. Even my parents and my brother, Riley, drove up to spend the weekend with us. So here's some family pictures and a few of the fireworks, but trust me when I say that these do not do the show any justice whatsoever!!!

Happy 1st Father's Day, Marcin!

Since Father's Day was semi-official around here we celebrated! I got up and made Marcin some eggs and pancakes for breakfast and got him this little holder for the laptop. We use that computer so often on the couch and it really makes a big difference! Then our favorite people Hayley and Keith invited us over for a fun celebration. She made tons of really yummy food and even made up a little question and answer game for all the dads to participate in.

It was so nice to hear all the answers from them and hear them talk about their dad and what they do (or in our case, want to do) as fathers.

I'm so excited to finally be parents and I know Marcin will be such a great father to our little boy!!

(I realize I look like a 500 pound person here, but it was the only picture we got with each other so it's going to have to do. I'm just going to blame it on pregnancy?? Although I'm pretty sure I don't have a baby growing in my extremities...)

YIPEE!!! I don't know why, but the only thing that I have been dying to buy is a stroller and car seat. Is that weird? I'm not into all the baby clothes (not that I haven't bought a few), cribs, bedding, blah blah just a dang stroller!!! So after talking with my friends and family and looking at all different kinds, we decided on this one!! It came on Monday and I absolutely love it. I haven't moved it from our kitchen yet just because I like looking at it.

And I know I haven't posted very often so here's more of an update. Marcin rented a motorcycle the other day with his friend Mark and they got to ride around Cleveland all day today. He loved every minute of it. Lorne (Marcin's brother) is in town working this week also so he and Marcin went to the Indian's game tonight. So basically Marcin's had all the fun this week and I've been working just oh so hard. I did have some work trips this week, but I'm excited Marcin finally has somewhat of a break from school. The rotation this month is a little less strenuous than his schedule has been for the last few years, and it's nice to have him back and see him get to have some fun. It's also nice knowing that the end is in sight. School has gone by surprisingly fast. I know it's not over yet, but we're closer every month. I'm just really proud of him and all of his hard work the last couple of years.

So really it is a Marcin update since other than my recent stroller/ car seat purchase I haven't been doing anything very exciting. We are leaving for Oklahoma in a few short weeks so I'm trying to get things ready for that, and we're so excited to see more of our family very soon!!

Baby Update

So I haven't posted too much about our little baby and I thought it was time for an update. I just switched to my new doctor and I love her! She's really nice and I'm excited to see her the rest of my pregnancy. The baby is doing great! Growing just fine, has all the appendages, and moves around like crazy!! I asked the ultrasound tech if all babies moved that much or if I just have a wiggly one and she said ours wasn't moving anymore than anyone else's. So here's a few pics:

AND THE RESULTS!!!!!!!..............

We're having a little BOY!!!! We are so excited! We didn't really care the outcome, but we both were slightly hoping for a boy just a little more. It was so fun watching him move around because I can feel him moving all the time it seems like and it was fun to see what was really going on in there. We feel so extremely blessed that this pregnancy has gone so well. There have been a few hiccups along the way, but overall it's been great and we're happy to see our baby boy healthy and growing!!!

We're Back

That was the fastest month of my life! I felt like I was there for a few days! Marcin loved the doctor he was with in Houston and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I got to spend tons of time with my mom and dad and my little brother, Riley (who is not so little anymore, might I add). Chelsea and Sydney came down the last week we were there also so we got to see Cali again with them. It was so much fun having the whole family together. It seems really rare that that happens. We also spent time with my grandparents and my Grandma Sally and I both agree that the time went by too fast!! I thought it would feel like forever that we were there, but it really didn't. Marcin and I got to spend a night out with our friends, Ashley and Jason and their boys too which was so fun because our husbands hadn't really met yet and I hadn't seen their newest addition, Camden and he's adorable!! I didn't really take any pictures which is unfortunate, but I think my mom might have a few so I'll try and update with those soon. It's sad to leave our families, but only two more months in Cleveland and then we'll be invading Amy and Brian's (Marcin's sister and her husband) for the month of July!!!!!

Marcin's Motorcycle Trip
